Locations
Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of the United Kingdom, the River Trent offers a thrilling playground for water enthusiasts seeking adrenaline-pumping adventures.
Among the myriad of water sports available, water skiing and power boating stand out as exhilarating choices that captivate both beginners and seasoned thrill-seekers.
Gunthrope
The Gunthorpe zone is accessed through the carpark of the Unicorn Public house where we have our own slipway and landing stage. The ski zone is upstream towards Nottingham for approx. 1 mile of skiing area starting close to Gunthorpe Bridge. The zones are marked on the waters edge with large British Waterways signage.
Hazelford & Hoveringham
The Hazelford and Hoveringham zone used to be 2 zones prior to residential developments in the area. We have the zone from the slipway at Hazelford up to the other side of Hoveringham, which is close to 4 miles of skiing area. We have no landing stages or facilities at this zone but the water is perfect for skiing and barefooting.
Farndon
The Farndon zone is accessed via the slipway in the Marina in the village and after launching the zone can be found approx. 300m upstream towards Nottingham. The zone has some shallow sections and a few bends, with our own landing area mid zone. It’s a great facility.
